Marguerite “Peggy” Cody (nee Lynch), aged 97, and formerly of Arlington Heights, died at peace on December 30, 2015. Peggy was born in Chicago on July 11, 1918 to the late John and Marie Lynch (nee Mea) and into a family of seven (7) loving brothers and sisters. She married Patrick J. Cody in 1943 and together they raised their four (4) children, the late Kathleen (Gerald E.) Fox, Patrick, Jr. (Donna Meilner), William (Barbara Strock), and Donna Marie (Dan) Daly. She was blessed with ten (10) grand children and four (4) great grand children who gave her endless joy.
A funeral Mass to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, located on the NW corner of Elmhurst Road (Rt.83) and Lincoln St., in Mt. Prospect, IL. Visitation at the church will begin at 9:30 AM, the funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM.
